About us

 

When we founded Blåmst, it was with a family dream of being together more and creating an everyday life with space for play. So we did: We launched our webshop in 2021, and in May 2022 we opened our first physical store in the heart of Horsens. From here we run our interior design company, which today designs posters, textiles, indispensable everyday products and much more. In addition, we collaborate with some of the coolest designers, ceramists and creative types who, like us, create products that make everyday life easier, more beautiful and more fun.

Over time, family has become as much a business philosophy as it is a physical thing. We choose to produce and buy less, but better, for the sake of community. When we design or select products, we think about what can be brought to family gatherings, dinner parties and playdates. We prefer to create a tablecloth that can be passed down through the family rather than changing the design every season. Our textiles are produced in places where quality and human integrity are a high priority. And the brands we choose to collaborate with are created by people we would invite to the table at any time.

In this way, our small family business today is both much more and exactly the same as when we started. An upper floor has been added to the detached house, but the foundation is unchanged. And of course there is room for you. Welcome ♥️
